At Challis Area Health Center, we know that feeling your best means maintaining your mental and emotional health in combination with your physical health. That is why we do our part to meet the mental health needs of our community. Our behavioral health team works together to provide coordinated treatment for all patients who need counseling. We conduct thorough screenings to ensure each patient, whether adolescent, adult, or senior, receives the services they need to address any issues they may be dealing with in their lives.

Our counselors support those struggling with PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief, and stress. We also help patients dealing with bipolar disorder and other mental health conditions.  In addition to counseling, we also offer support to those struggling with addiction. Our behavioral health team is trained to provide the counseling and resources needed to help people recover.
