If you need help but cannot make it into the office, we are here for you! At Challis Area Health Center, we strive to make our services widely available to our community. That is why we offer Telehealth appointments for the convenience of our established patients.

You can schedule a virtual visit with primary care and behavioral health providers using a variety of platforms.  Just call our front desk at 208-879-4351 or submit a request through the patient portal.

Why Should I Consider a Telehealth Appointment?

In addition to being a good option for those with limited mobility or transportation options, telehealth visits are also a safe alternative for patients who are high-risk or immunocompromised.

How Does Billing Work for Telehealth?

Billing for a virtual visit works just as it would for an in-person office visit. Depending on your coverage, the bill goes to either yourself or your insurance company.

It is important to note that insurance coverage for Telehealth appointments will vary. We recommend contacting your insurance company before scheduling an appointment.
