Telehealth visits are available for scheduling with established patients. These visits can be conducted by using Apple FaceTime, Facebook Messenger Video Chat, Google Duo or Skype for our primary care providers and Facebook Messenger Video Chat, Google Duo or Skype for our behavioral health providers. Phone visits are available only as needed. You can make an appointment for a Telehealth visit by calling our front desk at 208- 879-4351 or submitting a request through your patient portal.
What is a Telehealth visit?
Healthcare provided through electronic communication. Providers and patients are connected by video and audio for a Virtual Visit (as opposed to a face to face visit in the clinic).
Why would I schedule a Telehealth visit?
Telehealth or Virtual Visits may be recommended in situations when you may not be able to come to the office due to transportation or distance. It is also a great alternative to limit exposure to illness if you are immunocompromised or at risk for illness during times such as flu season.
Will I be billed for a Telehealth visit?
Yes. Your visit will be billed to your insurance or yourself as we would do for a regular face to face visit. You may want to contact your insurance to check on coverage.
